'Surface' Tension For iPad?

(Courtesy: Microsoft.com)
When Abhinav Bindra, a rifle shooter won a Gold medal in Olympics, the nation was proud and overwhelmed. After which every kid in the gullies of India wanted to pick up the gun and be a shooter. Whereas previously everyone wanted to be Sachin Tendulkar. If one obtains success in a field, others try to do something similar; but it is not unnecessary that all will achieve success of the same magnitude.

Apple and Microsoft have been logger-heads after Steve Jobs's reality distortion field could not be beard by Bill Gates. Later, they collided on the hardware as well as the software front. Finally, Apple emerged as an emperor of the smartphone markets and Microsoft dominated the computers with their operating system, Windows.

Twitter Gets A New Bird, A New Logo.

Social-networking-revolutionary-service—Twitter has unveiled a new logo for itself. The company says the new logo will be the universally recognized symbol of Twitter. And that "there's no longer a need for text, bubbled typefaces, or a lowercase ‘t’ to represent Twitter." Though there are a many logo’s which symbolize Twitter, but this one will just replace the ‘t’.

The bird in the logo has its head held high, wings spread wide. Looks like Twitter is getting philosophical with its design and logos. Twitter says that "our new bird grows out of love for ornithology, design within creative constraints, and simple geometry," and that "a bird in flight is the ultimate representation of freedom, hope, and limitless possibility"

Apple Fails In India : Top 5 Reasons.

Apple Fails in India
Apple products are a rage in the West. But in Asian nations like India it isn't popular with the masses. The guys at the research department of Apple do not consider India as a potential ground to sell the iPhone. Maybe it is because of Steve Jobs and his 7 months stay in India in the '70s that has blacklisted Indians from being blessed with the iPhone just as it launches. They have to wait till it officially launches or pay a couple of bucks extra and get it arranged from the Black market.

Its not only the pricing that affects its graphs but also does its service, communication and marketing factors. Indians believe in the "Sasta, Sunder, Tikao" phenomenon. And Apple has been known to deliver simple, aesthetic products and doesn't mind keeping it highly priced.

1. Price:
People who buy electronic are mostly consumers and not buyers. They want the best of all and  prefer having it low priced, offer full feature and getting the best service. The iPhone rates in India are exorbitant. Though the iPhone is used by a million, it is neglected by the masses and thus giving it market to Nokia, who still dominates 60% of the cellular devices sold.

2. Delicacy:
"iPhone gira toh, vaat hai!" (if the iPhone falls, your screwed) is a common axiom. It is believed that once the iPhone slips from your hand, it has slipped forever and you would have to get a new one. Though this is partly false but people do not want to risk it. And you certainly cannot carry it in a 7.59pm Virar Local. After all, it costs you your monthly salary.
