9 Million Galaxy's Pre-Ordered.

The next heir of the Galaxy series has already received a pre-order of 9 Million devices, an insider at Samsung revealed. The Korean phone maker had already overtaken Californian giant -Apple  as the world's biggest smartphone maker in the first quarter. Samsung has reported that this pre-order is from 100 Carriers across the globe, excluding America!

And the 9 Million figure has been calculated not considering the American demand as the US models are yet to release. But, we feel that the Americans would still prefer and stay loyal to Apple and its iPhone. The next heir of the Galaxy series which was unveiled on 3rd May in London and would be available in stores on 29th in the German stores. And has achieved this milestone in barely two weeks of its announcement.

The unidentified official also says that the company's factory in South Korea was running at its full capacity of 5 million units per month.Though the 9 mn mark is a biggie for Samsung, its still not enough to give Apple goosebumps.

Samsung declined to comment. It said last month that the new Galaxy SIII would "substantially contribute" to its second-quarter revenue.
